Negin Jalayer is a New York State licensed physical therapist with over 16 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy. She graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University in 2004 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. In 2007, she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Northeastern University.
In 2008, Dr. Jalayer became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in physical therapy, a designation held only by 5% of licensed physical therapists in New York State.
Dr. Jalayer has a vast amount of knowledge and experience treating the most common conditions such as low back pain, arthritis, disc herniation, pinched nerve, headaches, total knee/hip replacements, and knee/shoulder injuries. She promotes a healthy lifestyle and physical wellness. Dr. Jalayer’s treatment philosophy focuses on treating the cause of a person’s physical problem, and not just the symptoms. Her treatments focus on using her manual skills to alleviate pain, restore strength and flexibility, and to better her patients’ conditions.
Christine Rizzacasa, PT, DPT

Christine Rizzacasa graduated in 2020 from New York Institute of Technology with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Christine completed the 3+3 Bachelors in Life Sciences/Doctorate of Physical therapy program while playing softball at NYIT. Christine has been exposed to many different areas of physical therapy including orthopedics, pediatrics, and neuromuscular conditions. Christine prides herself in always thinking of the patient as a whole, and not just his/her injury to give the best care possible to her patients. Among Dr. Christine’s specialties are orthopedics, sports training, baseball, and softball injuries.
In her spare time, Christine coaches a youth travel softball team, enjoys exercising, going to country concerts, the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
Joseph Artoglou, DPT

Joseph grew up in Carle Place, NY. His passion for physical therapy comes from battling injuries from college football and seeing family members dealing with chronic pain.

Henry C Levano Guerrero, PTA

Henry C Levano Guerrero became interested in physical therapy as a martial artist trying to help out his training partners with injuries. Originally interested in being a massage therapist, Henry came across the physical therapist assistant profession and decided to give it a try.
Henry finds that the job complements his interests perfectly since he gets to apply scientific knowledge, experience with exercise and injuries learned from martial arts and compassion learned from meditation, another passion of his.
In his spare time, Henry also enjoys practicing capoeira on the beach, designing tattoos, playing video games, and eating seafood. Henry is currently working on obtaining my BS in Nutrition and Exercise at Queens College.
ANDREW CHO, PTA

Andrew Cho is a physical therapy assistant who graduated at the top of his class from Nassau Community College in 2012.
Andrew also holds a personal training certification and is very knowledgeable in treating sports injuries and providing the latest in fitness consultation. He is passionate about good health, exercise, and staying fit. Andrew uses various manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and to improve his patients’ fitness performance. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys partaking in various fitness obstacle course races including Spartan, Tough Mudder, and Battlefrog. He also participates in various charity runs such as the Long Island Half Marathon and enjoys playing beach volleyball and tennis.

JOE G., PT AIDE
Joe has been a part of our Marathon Physical Therapy family since 2014. He is loved by all and an integral part of each patient’s experience and success.
Joe grew up in Ozone Park, Queens, right by JFK Airport and Rockaway Beach. He loves sports, especially baseball. Joe has been playing baseball since he was 5 years old. He loves being active and competing. In fact, his hobbies include hiking, outdoor bike riding, and listening to music.
Joe is currently studying to apply to a Physical Therapist Assistant Program. He became interested in physical therapy after tearing a ligament in his elbow while pitching. He had to undergo surgery for his elbow injury and was first introduced to physical therapy first hand as a patient. Joe states that it was the rehabilitation that he went through to recover from his injury that inspired him to study physical therapy.
Here are some fun facts about Joe—his favorite food is chicken cutlets, his favorite color is blue, his favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees, and his favorite TV show is Game of Thrones.
Anthony Z., PT AIDE
Anthony has been a part of our Marathon Physical Therapy family since 2020.
Anthony is a true New Yorker, having grown up in Flushing, Queens. Anthony grew up running track and field. He also loves lifting weights and going to the gym. Anthony is currently studying to obtain his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
He became interested in Physical Therapy after a hip injury due to running track. He underwent PT and states that being in and out of Physical Therapy clinics inspired him to take his passion of keeping in shape and rehabilitation into a career.
